VISUAL and PERFORMING ARTS:
Participants in any component of the Calvert HEED program is eligible to be part of this production.
The participants of this program will be given the opportunity to utilize the creative arts using approaches embedded in their culture to express through art their emotions that chronic illness such as diabetes may stir up.
This program will culminate in a stage performance using a script created by those who choose to participate with the intent of delivering the message of hope and endurance with a chronic illness that is potentially fatal if adherence to lifestyle changes and treatment is not maintained. This will include diabetics of all ages.
This project will include a stage director who will oversee all aspects of the performance.
