Become an AmeriCorps*VISTA at Barstow Acres Children's Center!A mature individual is needed starting July 2008 for event planning, fund raising, grant-writing, outreach and much more! No experience necessary, training provided. If you are enthusiastic about leaning these skills and interested in children's work, this position is for you! Ten reliable volunteers are also needed for our various fundraising activities. College Internships We offer internship opportunity during our yearlong programs and summer camp. Psychology, education, sociology, social work, creative arts, recreation therapy major would benefit from our program. All others may inquire. Donations We are in need of monetary donations in order to offset our operating costs and provide services at a reduced rate. Donations are tax deductible.
